At Dao Wellness & Acupuncture Center, you pay a single rate based on time, not type of treatment
During a 30-minute treatment, we are usually able to address a single chief complaint. Our work is usually broken up into 15-minute increments, and as such we would be able to provide, for example, 15 minutes of massage and 1 round of acupuncture, or 15 minutes of massage and 1 round of cupping. This is an excellent option for patients who visit us regularly with minor issues.
In a 45-minute treatment, we can usually tackle 2 chief complaints that you may have. Again, as our modalities are usually broken up into 15-minute increments, we work beforehand to determine what types of intervention you would like during your treatment. This is our most common appointment time for a majority of patients who are visiting us after their first session.
This is our minimum recommended time for your first appointment. As we do not charge for our initial consultations, the initial intake is part of the overall time for your treatment. If you have a complex medical history, you may want to consider adding another 15 minutes on your first appointment to insure that adequate time is available to address your issues.
A comfortable amount of time to address initial intake and treatment, this generally allows for a full hour of modalities to be applied on your first treatment. For patients with multiple chief complaints, or for those who simply prefer a more full and complete service.
This level of care provides for "The Works" to be applied to your chief complaints. Usually this will include massage, cupping, and multiple rounds of acupuncture. We work together to address your concerns using whichever techniques you are most comfortable with.
